Kitchen Towels – the paper towel’s fancy, eco-friendly cousin

January 28, 2012

I’ve gone on a tear of organizing the seemingly endless amount of links, blogposts, and e-boutiques that I’ve stashed away in various locales.  I’m somewhat embarassed about my newfound obsession with a certain consumption/curating/magpie website (it starts with the letter P).  However, I have rediscovered some favorite things I’ve squirreled away – many of which are kitchen oriented – so here, as a start, are kitchen towels.

Favorite of all favorites.  A Thomas Paul elephant:

50 State Animal tea towel.  From PepperSprouts:

State dish towels from Uncommon Goods.  Missouri and DC are on my wishlist for sure.

Ross towels from Plastica:

People Towels – lots of cool choices:

An etsy shop with understated design:

Home-town favorite – St. louis weaver Amy Norris makes gorgeous, color rich towels (of which I have a few).  Just delightful.  She doesn’t have an Etsy shop – can’t keep enough inventory (awesome problem to have).  If you’re an STL local and you’re interested in picking up some goodies when her fall show rolls around, shoot her an email at amy@amyfibre.com.
